Localizing Sustainable Development Goals: The Role of Management for Development Results

Dear Students,

Since 2015, KDI School has been co-hosting MfDR events with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Asian Development Bank (ADB), and African Development bank (AfDB) and the Development Research Team is pleased to announce the upcoming Seminar on Localizing Sustainable Development Goals: The Role of Management for Development Results. This international seminar aims to reflect the efforts to localize effective management for development results, as well as the challenges and opportunities created for making new progress through the 2030 development agenda. In this event, mid and high-level local/regional government officials from countries of Asia, America, and Africa, and Korea’s local/regional government officials and related field specialists will be participating, and KDI School students will be invited to join as representatives of the school.

 

■ Date and Time: August 28 (Tues) – August 29 (Wed), 09:00 – 17:00

* Transportation from the school to Seoul on August 28^th morning, and Seoul to school on August 29^th evening will be provided with the 1-day accommodation (2 students/room) for August 28^th near the venue. Further announcements will be made on the details of the transportation and accommodation.

: Those who can participate for the entire duration of the event for the 2 days – Full participation is mandatory

* Management for Development Results is a management strategy which uses performance information to improve decision-making. It aims to use practical tools for strategic planning, risk management, progress monitoring, and outcome evaluation to help public organizations achieve the results laid down in the objectives and goals of government programs.
