Technological innovation in contemporary era is marked by the 4th Industrial Revolution in which artificial intelligence, robotics, and other emerging technologies will enable mankind to reach the unprecedented productivity.

 The 2019 WDR "The Changing Nature of Work" published by the World Bank illustrates the impact of innovation on labor market, and emphasizes the quality education and social welfare system against the rapidly changing landscape.

KDIS Development Research Team invites Dr. Federica Saliola, the director of WDR 2019 to deliver a seminar on main contents of the report. Furthermore, the experts from diverse backgrounds will be joining to discuss how the 4th Industrial Revolution affects Korean labor market and social security policy.
