2019 International Food Festival

 

Dear KDIS Students,

 

Greetings! We are pleased to announce that the 2019 KDIS International Food Festival is coming up. This year will mark the festival's 20th anniversary!

 

Without a nod to cuisine, we cannot fully understand culture. Through one of the largest events in the KDIS calendar, you will have the chance to share in ethnic foods made by the diverse KDIS student body and promote your own culture! The festival will focus on preparing and savoring a wide variety of foods, so sign up now to show off your cooking skills and experience delicious and delightful dishes from around the world!

 

■ Festival Overview

- Date & Time: Friday, October 25  /  15:00~17:00

- Venue: KDIS Courtyard (in the event of poor weather, Lincoln Hall)

■ Team Organization and Application

- Total number of host teams: Up to 12

* Teams will be recognized on a first-come, first-served basis, so do not wait to apply!

- Team organization

1) Each team must have more than 6 students.

2) Students must be from at least different two countries.

3) Each team must select one representative.

* The representative must submit the team's application form and participate in festival orientation.

■ School Support

- Subsidy: KRW 300,000 for each team to buy ingredients.

- Utensils: necessary cookware, dishes, and utensils will be provided to each team

- Prize: given to the team voted to be the best at the festival

 

We are also looking for a diverse selection of hosts and entertainers to help manage the flow of the event and perform during festival. If anyone is interested in showing off their talents, please reply to this message and let us know.
