We are pleased to announce that there will be a Special Lecture for you on October 11, which is delivered by Prof. Charlotte Jonasson of Aarhus University in Denmark.

The topic is "Distributed leadership and reconciling professional and managerial concerns during and after a hospital merger". 

 

  This lecture will take a theoretical departure in research on reconciling professional and managerial values and goals (e.g. Noordegraaf et al. 2016; McGivern et al. 2015) by introducing "A Danish Hospital Merger" case. The lecture will provide insight into theories on distributed leadership (e.g. Chreim 2015; Bolden 2011) as a form of more collective leadership constellations and how this is developed in public organizations.

  During the lecture there will be time for open discussions and questions in regard to Danish public management and new research collaborations on public digitalization.
