The Cooperative Research Division of KDI School is pleased to announce the upcoming World Development Report 2020 Flagship Workshop, jointly organized by KDI School and the World Bank on November 21st (Thursday), 2019 at Le Meridien Seoul.

The World Bank publishes the World Development Report (WDR) every year, and this year's report is about the global value chains (GVCs)(https://www.worldbank.org/en/publication/wdr2020). This workshop will discuss whether there is a path to development through GVCs and trade, as well as GVC's role to boost growth, creating better jobs and reducing poverty.
