[Writing Center]Engaging 2014 Spring KDI School Editing Services!

Dear Students,

Greetings from KDIS.

To support KDIS students’ written work more presentable and of higher quality, KDIS launches Writing Center service. Consultations with editors will surely instruct you how to improve and correct your own work based on techniques employed during the consultation sessions. If anyone wants to get this service, please read the NOTICE and apply for it! J

NOTICE

To be afforded copyediting services, starting this Friday(Feb. 21st) interested students can contact the KDI Writers` Centre by doing the following:

u What is Writing Center?

u  To help KDIS students make their written work more presentable and of higher quality, with particular regard to grammar, syntax, spelling, mechanics, word choice, punctuation and correct formatting

u  30-minute face-to-face Editing Service

u  The venue: Rm. 9212 (The Students` Council Room)

                        * Be punctual for next person

u  Reservation or Cancellation

-  Reservation: 2 days in advance before the preferred date of meeting

- Cancellation: 1 day in advance before the appointment date is only possible

* Failure to make a cancellation on time or not showing up without prior notice will PRECLUDE the student from being rendered the service.

 

u How To Apply?

u  Check the editor available timetable:

Homepage > Members > Academic Notice (it will announce from Mar.20th (Thurs.) Morning)

 

u  Editing Service is limited ONLY 2 TIMES per student for a fair shake

u  Make a reservation 2 days in advance before the preferred date of meeting, via this email address (writingcenter@kdischool.ac.kr).

u  Application Format

- Send e-mail to writingcenter@kdischool.ac.kr

- Following E-mail formatting:

Email Title: YOUR FULL NAME, Preferred DATE and TIME

Body/Text/Content: A brief explanation of editing services being requested for, e.g. grammar correction, structural formatting, etc. So clearly outline the kind of help you need.

N.B: Please attach an MS-Word of your academic paper too.

u  After you got editing service, please complete Evaluation sheet which displayed one side of writing center room.

 

Application (including cancellation) status for the editing reservation status will be up-dated every morning by 10:00AM in this Homepage Board (Members ->Academic Notice).
