[Research Project]2016 Summer Evaluation Schedule (Thesis/Capstone/SRP/ELP)

Dear Students, 

For students writing a Research Project(Thesis/Capstone/SRP/ELP), please refer to the following information. 

Please read the information below carefully, as the research project evaluation procedure has been changed slightly from the 2106 summer semester.

Submission Deadline: ~ May 27 (Friday), 2016

For the 2016 Summer Research Project(Thesis, Capstone, SRP, and ELP) Evaluation, your paper should be submitted to the Academic Affairs Division (rp@kdis.ac.kr) by May 19 (Thu.), 2016 for Anti-Plagiarism Test.

Before you submit it, you MUST... 
Make a request to the Academic Affairs Division(rp@kdis.ac.kr) for an anti-plagiarism test by May 19 (Thu.)

② Receive approval from your major supervisor regariding the result of anti-plagiarism test

③ If you don't get approval from your supervisor, revise your paper with your supervisor's guidance and request a 2nd Anti-plagiarism test from the Academic Affairs Division(rp@kdis.ac.kr) by May 25 (Wed.) 

If you pass the anti-plagiarism test, fill out the attached "Recommendation for Evaluation" form with only your major supervisor's signature and submit it with a soft copy of your research paper to rp@kdis.ac.kr for evaluation.
 

<Anti-Plagiarism Test> 
1st anti-plagiarism test: ~ May 19(Thu.), 2016
2nd anti-plagiarism test: ~ May 25(Wed.), 2016
- The outcome of the test should be reviewed by your major supervisor, who will guide you through what to do with it.
- All papers must go through the anti-plagiarism test before evaluation.  

▶ Items to Submit by May 27(Fri.): 
1. An electronic file of Thesis/Capstone/SRP/ELP (MS-Word or PDF Format)

2. 'Recommendation for Evaluation' From (*Please refer to the attached files) 
※ International Students currently NOT in Korea are encouraged to consult their Research Project (Thesis, Capstone, SRP, and ELP) supervisor before so that alternative solutions can be found regarding the submission of the ‘Recommendation for Evaluation’ form, such as sending an e-mail to your professor, and forwarding the confirmation e-mail to us.

Also, please make sure that you use the attached, updated version of the Recommendation for Evaluation Form which indicates the similarity index and plagiarism test result. 

3. Research Project (RP) Submission for Evaluation: ~ May 27 (Fri.), 2016

Please submit the final paper to the Academic Affairs Division (rp@kdis.ac.kr) within the submission period. ONLY copies of your paper that have been completed and passed the anti-plagiarism test should be submitted after sufficient consultion with your supervisor.
 
4. Evaluation Schedule

1st anti-plagiarism test ~ May 19
2nd anti-plagiarism test ~ May 25
Research Project Submission for Evaluation ~ May 27
Evaluation June 7 ~ July 15
Result Notice July 25

※ For Thesis and Capstone projects, if the research project is approved by the Research Project Evaluation Committee,
students will be given 3~4 weeks to revise it based on the feedback from the Committee. 

※ According to the Korean Law of Education, students are obliged to enroll at least 5 semesters to obtain master's degree.
