The Academic Affairs Division is now accepting applications for a Class Assistant(CA) and a Teaching Assistant (TA) positions for the 2020 Fall Semester.

1. Class Assistant (CA)
(1) Application Period: ~ September 2(Wed.)
(2) Working period: the Fall Semester (September 7 ~ December 5)
(3) Scholarship (Compensation): 500,000 KRW (12 weeks)
(4) Job Description
① Prepare for class (make room reservations, set-up presentation tools: microphone, pointer, etc.)
② Check class attendance (e-attendance and MIS)
③ If needed, send an e-mail notice, collect assignments, and upload lecture notes
④ Organize a class gathering
⑤ Act as an emergency contact point
⑥ Conduct miscellaneous duties upon teacher's request
⑦ Notify the Academic Affairs of the end date of the class
⑧ Input cancel and make-up class information immediately through e-Attendance.
⑨ Submit a copy of Work Confirmation and Student Roster.

(5) CA Assignment
The decision will be made based on the respective Professor's preference, each candidate's admission scholarship, prior experience, and previous evaluation. Please note that the number of openings is limited.
If you are assigned as a CA, you will receive an additional notice individually.
※PLEASE BE AWARE!
- Only on campus students can apply for a CA position. If a student who is not on the campus applies for the position, it will be automatically deleted.
- Students can only apply for classes that they are enrolled.
- Due to COVID-19, there may be additional CA works during the semester to prevent the spread of the virus.
- Please do not contact any professors directly to ask for assistantship in the professor’s class. CA selection can only be made through this official application process. Employing any unofficial procedures will be grounds for disqualification from the current round of selections and may have negative effects on future selections.
- It is allowed to be assigned as a CA of up to two courses.
- The Class Assistantship Agreement shall be made between KDI School and Class Assistant Students.
- In case of emergency, a CA student may withdraw from the CA obligation under the consent of the professor. The CA students are required to report any such information to the Academic Affairs Division ly.
2. Teaching Assistant (TA)
(1) Eligibility
- 2nd- and 3rd-year Ph.D. students
- 2nd-year Master's students

* TA sessions of the QM course will be scheduled at 10 a.m. every Friday.
** The number of TA openings depends on each course and is subject to be changed depending on circumstances.
(4) Job Description
A TA supports learning activities in his/her assigned class. Their main responsibilities include delivering tailored tutoring to students on either one-on-one basis or in small groups and making sure that the students are able to engage in learning and stay on task during the class.
(5) Working hour : Total 11th week
- TA session: Maximum 2 hours per week
- Office hour: Maximum 5 hours per week
(6) Scholarship (Compensation)
- TA Session: 30,000 KRW / hour
- Office hour: 10,000 KRW / hour
(7) Assignment
