Updated dormitory Rules & Regulations

Dear KDIS Dormitory Residents, 

 

We would like to inform you that the Dormitory Regulations & Guidelines have been newly updated as shown below. Due to the discovery of a fire hazard last month, the school will strictly inspect and monitor for the purpose of enforcing this new policy in order to keep all residents safe.

  

 <NEW Dormitory Regulations & Guidelines for Residents>
Cooking in the rooms is strictly prohibited.
Use or possession of any unauthorized electric and/or heating appliances (including but not limited to electric blankets, electrical fan heaters, coffee ports/makers, ramen ports, gas burners, electric cookers, etc.) that may cause a fire in the dormitory is prohibited. Any infringement will be subject to disciplinary action including a maximum penalty of expulsion from dormitory depending on the case and as determined by the committee. Exceptions to the above include small daily appliances such as computers, hair dryers, fans, radios, chargers and electric shavers.


The full version of these dormitory regulations and guidelines has been attached in this e-mail. Please read it carefully and be fully aware of the policies. Violation of any of these rules and regulations or any misconduct therein will be subject to disciplinary action. We request that any resident made aware of someone using or possessing these unauthorized materials, report it to the school, housemasters, or DAs. The policy will be effective starting May 14 (Mon).
