KDIS Dormitory Fire Drill

Please be informed that there will be a fire prevention drill scheduled as follows.

■ Date: September 13 (Thur), 2018

■ Time: 18:30~19:00

■ Venue: Dormitory Building 102 & Parking area of building 102

The fire drill is a very important that ensures that all of you to know how to react in the event of a fire.

On March 31, 2018, a fire hazard was discovered in the laundry room of dormitory building 101. Fortunately, the fire was quickly and properly extinguished. Accordingly, we would like to emphasize that it is the responsibility of all residents to know the position of all fire extinguishers and exits of the buildings. And for room safety, use of possession of any unauthorized electric and/or heating appliances that may cause a fire in the dormitory are strictly prohibited.

When you hear the fire alarm, everyone MUST go to the stairs and be in standby outside the building. You DAs will be there and other staff members will be at both staircases to facilitate you in escaping from the building.

Please find the attached map of the building and detailed information on how to react in an emergency situation and the map of the building.

It is very important that you follow the instructions given to you. We shall be carrying out a complete fire drill with live evacuations under the supervision of the professionals.
