The Student Affairs Division is seeking to fill dormitory assistant(DA) positions, who is enthusiastic, passionate and motivated.

A Dormitory Assistant(DA) is responsible for enhancing the quality of life in the dormitory, including fostering a cooperative and considerate residential learning environment for all students.

 

The position carries a wide range of duties and sometimes ambiguous responsibilities. Please refer to the following for more detailed information.

 

 

 - Terms*: December 1, 2019 ~  July 31, 2020 

 

 - Qualifications

   1) Applicants who will stay at school in the summer semester 2020

   2) Applicants MUST stay at school during the whole month of January helping new students to check-in their dormitory.

   3) Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, as well as administrative and interpersonal skills.

 

 - Responsibilities

   1) Help with various tasks related to check-in and check-out

   2) Post announcements and notices concerning the rules and regulations of the dormitory

   3) Ensure facilities in the dormitory are well maintained and kept clean (lounge, kitchen and other communal places).

   4) Inspect facilities, and create a Monthly Report

   5) Encourage self-adherence to School regulations in case of a violation of the dormitory regulations

   6) Address any complaints regarding the dormitory life, acting as a liaison with the School

   7) Deal with emergency cases (such as hospitalization or a fire drill),  CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) training

   8) Organize and manage the student council for dormitory residents 

   9) Facilitate regular communication with all students on their assigned floor 

  10) Provide campus tours and dormitory orientation for new students

  11) Other duties as assigned or as needed.

  12) Terms may be shorten or lengthen depends on your work evaulation

 

 - Benefits

   1) Full dormitory fee (double room) will be supported by the school as a scholarship while you are working as a DA.

   2) A double room that can be used alone may be provided only if there are enough empty beds after room assignments of new incoming students.

 

 - Application: Please complete the attached application form and submit it via e-mail at dormitory@kdischool.ac.kr. All applications must be submitted by November 22(Friday).

 

 - Interviews: Submission of an application does not guarantee an interview. All applications will be reviewed by the school. Applicants will be contacted individually if selected for an interview. 

 

- Selection Schedule

  1) Interview: November 25(Monday) or 26(Tuseday)

  2) Result: November 27(Wednesday)

  3) DA orientation: November 28(Thursday) or 29(Friday)
