Attention all mountain lovers!

The KDIS Sejong Hiking & Cultural Exploratory Club will be hiking Mt. Gyeryong (lit. Chicken/Rooster Dragon Mountain) this Saturday morning (4/18).

As you may well be aware, Mt. Gyeryong is believed to have excellent feng shui and was briefly favoured, first, for the site of the capital city of the Goryeo Dynasty and then later the Joseon Dynasty.

It is also home to Donghak Temple, which houses the first school for Buddhist nuns. If we are lucky we might even see some cherry blossoms along the Donghaksa mountain trail.

Beginners are welcome, but please do keep in mind that hiking is strenuous and that those who wish to participate need to be in decent physical shape. We will hike all the way up to the summit.
