[Notice] Dormitory Room Change

Dear students

The Student Affairs Division is announcing the beginning of the Dormitory Room Change Request Period.

Students who wish to change their rooms should submit the form and must have a valid reason for requesting the room change. Please make sure that the form fully explains your reasons and situation, since the School’s approval will depend solely on your application form.

Please submit the form by 6pm, Monday Feb. 17th, to Ms. June Hyunju KIM (Room Number 214). The submission should be made in person, not through an email.

Things to remember:

1.      For the room change, you must get agreements from all related students (current and prospective roommates) as shown in the attached form.

2.      Please understand that submitting a proper form does not guarantee a room change as it could be extremely difficult to accommodate every request. For this reason, the School does not recommend applying for a change based on a personal preference or a life style difference.

3.      Once you change the room, you cannot change it again. Any room changes without school’s permission is strictly prohibited. If you wish to change your room after the designated period, you will be charged an additional fee.

4.      Once you get the permission for room change, you must move in the specific period. and get it confirmed with your DA. Other than this period, you can’t change rooms even if you got permission from the School.

5.      Students should bear the cost of the room change incurred by additional washing of the bedding. The cost is KRW 20,000.

6.      In case a student in the on-campus dormitory wishes to move to an off-campus dormitory and vice versa, getting agreements from related parties is not a prerequisite, the School will process the application should there be a vacancy.
