Application for CAMPUS Asia program for Spring 2015

 

*Application for CAMPUS Asia is only for Korean Students.

 

* 중국 국가 장학금 신청 기간이 조기 진행 됨에 따라, 부득이하게 2015학년도 봄 파견학생을 조기 모집합니다. 신청대상은 2015년 2월 파견 당시 Full time의 경우 3학기, Part time의 경우 5학기를 마친 재학생 및 수료생 입니다. 단, 내부합격 후 최종 파견시까지 자격요건을 갖추지 못할 경우 최종 파견이 취소될 수도 있습니다. 파견 세부내역은 아래를 참고하시어 많은 관심 바랍니다.

 

CAMPUS Asia program started from 2012. Students can take classes and earn credits and/or a degree in China and Japan, sponsored by an inter-governmental scholarship. Designed to promote cooperation among Asian universities, CAMPUS Asia will allow our students to obtain an additional master’s degree while enjoying the rare experience of living and studying in the three Northeast Asian countries.

 

▣ Partner Schools

1) Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), Japan (Degree, Exchange)

2) School of Public Policy and Management (SPPM), Tsinghua University, China (Exchange only)

▣ Eligibility Requirements for application

1) At least 24 credits completed including core courses (by the time of departure)

2) CGPA of at least 3.5 or above (by the time of departure)

3) TOEFL: CBT 213, iBT 79~80, IELTS 6.0 or other English score equivalent to that score (by the time of application)

4) Completion of three terms (five terms for the part-time students) at KDI School (by the time of departure)

▣ Eligibility Requirements for Application

1) Students are highly recommended to apply for both partner schools when they submit the application.

2) Students who pursue degree program will be considered with first priority then just exchange program applicants.

3) However, if there is a vacancy, exchange program applicants for both partner schools will be considered.

 

▣ Submission Period: April., 13 (Sun.), 2014

* Since Exchange conditions including tuition are varied, please consult the student affairs division before applying it.

* Please submit the complete documents to the Student Affairs Division.

 

▣ Program Structure

1) Option 1 : Exchange +  Dual Degree  

      - Exchange program at Tsinghua : 2015 Feb ~ June

     - Degree program at GRIPS : 2015 Oct ~ 2016 Sep.

 

2)  Option 2 : Exchange

- Exchange program at Tsinghua: 2015 Feb ~ June or Dec.

* Degree program (Option1) will be considered with first priority

4) Transcript of Academic Records (KDI School)

5) 1 Photo (3 cm X 4 cm)

6) TOEFL Score

 

▣ Benefits

1) Credits earned from the partner university can be transferred if the program chair recognizes the equivalency of the courses. (Maximum 9 Credits per semester)

2) No extra tuition will be charged for partner schools.

3) Participants will be provided with financial support for living expenses from partner schools. (GRIPS:80,000JPY per month, Tsinghua: 1,700CNY)

4) Free Dormitory

 

▣ Remarks

1) Students who satisfy the KDI School’s internal requirements will be eligible to apply to the partner school. Once students receive admission from the partner school, they will be considered as CAMPUS Asia program students for the upcoming semester.

2) If you change your decision after the final selection, you will be limited in your opportunities for future international program.

Several weeks after an application is submitted.
