Dear Students,

     

The first day of 2nd Summer has been pushed back two days, according to the decision of School Executive Committee due to‘2014 United Nations Public Service Forum’to be held in Korea.

     

Corresponding to the delay in schedule, the duration of the 2nd Summer has been changed from Jun. 23 (Mon)~Aug. 2 (Fri) to Jun. 25 (Wed)~Aug. 5 (Tue).

     

‘2014 United Nations Public Service Forum*’, the world’s most prestigious international event in the field of public administration, was traditionally held at United Nations Headquarters in New York but is now being held in a different region of the world every year. This year, it will be held in Korea from Jun. 23 (Mon) with the title of ‘Innovating Governance for Sustainable Development and Well-being of the People.’

     

All Ph.D. & Master students from the KDI School have been officially invited by the Ministry of Security and Public Administration(MOSPA), the host organization.

     

However, a time conflict between the event and 2nd session start date would mean that some students are unable to participate the event, thus the School Executive Committee has decided to give the opportunity for all students to participate in the event by adjusting the 2nd session start date. The KDI School believes it will be beneficial for all the students to participate in this forum for the first two days.

     

Again, with the schedule delay, the duration of the 2nd Summer has been changed from Jun. 23 (Mon) ~ Aug. 2(Fri) to Jun. 25(Wed) ~ Aug. 5 (Tue). Also, other related events during the 2nd Summer session has also been adjusted.

공공행정 분야 세계 최고 권위의 국제행사인‘UN 공공행정포럼’에 KDIS학생들이 공식적으로 초청된 바, 여름 2nd 학기 일정이 기존 6.23(월)~8.2(토)에서 이틀 연기되어 6.25(수)~8.05(화)로 바뀌게 되었음을 공지드립니다.

     

‘UN 공공행정포럼’은 매년 행정분야 우수사례국으로 뽑힌 국가에서 본 행사를 개최하고 있으며 금년도에는 ‘지속가능 발전과 국민행복을 위한 거버넌스 혁신’이라는 주제로 한국에서 개최됩니다.

     

본 행사 주최 및 행사운영 총괄부처인 안전행정부로부터 KDI대학원 석 박사 재학생을 대상으로 포럼 및 특별세션 참여를 공식적으로 요청받았으나 대학원의 여름 2nd Session과 일정이 겹치는 문제가 있어 대학원위원회(School Executive Committee) 심의를 거쳐 학사일정 조정을 통해 포럼 및 특별세션에 참여하기로 결정되었습니다.

     

따라서, 여름 2nd 학기 일정이 기존에서 이틀 연기되어 6.25(수)~8.05(화)로 바뀌게 되었고 이에 맞추어 세부적인 일정들도 변경이 있으니 보다 자세한 일정은 아래의 (신)학사일정표를 참고해주시면 감사하겠습니다.
