Internet connection maintenance notice

A maintenance to improve the internet connection in the dormitory will be carried out as follows. Internet will be unavailable during this time.

1. Time: Friday July 31st, 2015, 13:00 ~ 20:00

  - Maintenance schedule is subject to change

2. Affected area: Dormitory 101, 102    

3. Maintenance items:

  - Connection upgrade: The connection will be upgraded to a faster connection to increase bandwidth

  - Line replacement: Networks on each floor will be connected using fiber optic cables to prevent internet bottlenecks

  - System upgrade: Wireless routers currently in use will be replaced with higher-end network devices to improve connection speed

  - Firewall installation: QOS system to prevent excessive use by a single client will be implemented to ensure improved internet experience for all students
