Guidelines for MERS Suspected Students

 

Dear students,


The KDI School would like to provide further guidelines for MERS suspected students for prevention on campus.

When MERS suspected symptoms occur (high fevers over 37.5C, coughing, breathing difficulties, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, etc.), please follow instructions below.

 

[Off-campus students]

Please stay indoors and refrain from going outside including the school. Please report your status with self-checklist attached by e-mail immediately.

The absence from MERS suspected symptom will be recognized as excused absence within the one-sixths of the total number of classes. However, if the student receives MERS confirmation, the excused absence will be recognized without a time limit.

Also, please make sure to discuss with the professor and contact the Academic Affairs Division individually about the class to get the grade.

[For on-campus (Dormitory) students]

Please stay in your room and immediately report your status to the head master. Then the school will assign you to a single room for the temporary purposes.

The absence due to MERS suspected symptoms will be recognized as excused absence within the one-sixths of the total number of classes. However, if the student receives MERS confirmation, the excused absence will be recognized without a time limit.

Also, you need to discuss with the professor and contact the Academic Affairs Division individually about the class to get the grade.
