[KDIS] 2015 Fall POS Application (~10.29)

Dear Students (who have NOT yet formed POS Committee),

 

 

Please be informed that students who admitted in or before 2015 Spring have to form POS Committee.

 

POS (Program of Study) Committee will be the one you will closely work with while you work on your research project and evaluate your final paper.

 

You should form the POS committee within this period in order to get Research project evaluation and take ARS course in 2016 Summer Semester (for those who plan to write thesis or capstone).

 

Otherwise, you cannot evaluate your paper and cannot register ARS course in the summer semester.

 

 

Formation of POS Committee

 

1. Member of POS Committee

 

 

 Thesis/Capstone

 SRP/ ELP(GMP students ONLY)

 2 faculty members

1 Major Professor & 1 Second Professor

  1 faculty member

(1 Major Prof.)

 

2. How?

- Please invite the KDI School faculty members to be your POS Committee. The committee members should have expertise in the area of your research interests to provide you with constructive guidance.

 

3. Submission Period: ~ October 29 (Thu.)

Please fill out the attached form and submit it to the Office of Academic Affairs Division during the designated period after you complete the form with the signature of your POS Committee members.

 

4. Study Plan Submission

- After you form the POS Committee, you will be asked to submit a Research Plan to your Major Professor and the Office of Academic Affairs Division to concretize your research project idea.

- Submission Period: Nov. 23(Mon.) ~ Nov. 28(Sat.)

Please visit the Academic Affair within this week and find Ms. YU. I will provide you POS committee counseling for you.
