Dear Students,

KDI School limits the number of students in each class in order to maximize the quality of learning.

Given the limitation on course size, some students tend to register first and cancel later if they decide not to take the course. This kind of behavior takes away spaces from those students who are serious about taking a particular course and causes inconvenience not only to the students but also the administration. We would like to urge students, therefore, to choose their courses carefully and make sure that they register for the appropriate number of credits for a given semester.
Also, it will be canceled after the add&drop period automatically.

For your information, (online) course add and drop period is by Feb. 6 (Sat.) 22:00.
After Feb. 6 (Sat.) 22:00, you must submit a “drop application form” approved by the course professor if you would like to drop courses.
Also, note that any request for adding or changing after the period will NOT be accepted.
If your status is still “Waiting” after the add&drop period, you may consider as canceled.

[For Concentration Courses including Basic courses]

For concentration courses, course capacity is set at a minimum of 6 students and maximum of 30 students

If a course reaches its maximum number of students and there is a waiting list, it requires the professors’ permission to accept more students. However, even if the professors agree to accept more students, the course CANNOT exceed the classroom size.
(S202~S205: max. 40 students/ S302~S305: max. 32 students)

If a course has less than 6 students it will not be offered in that particular semester.

 [For Language Courses]

For language courses, course capacity is set at a minimum of 6 students and maximum of 16 students.
If the language course reaches its maximum number of students and there is a waiting list, you should move to the other sections which haven’t exceeded their prescribed limits unless the courses are not conflicting with other enrolled courses.

If all sections are full and the waiting list remains, it requires the professors’ permission to add students. However, even if the professors agree to accept more students, the grounds for additional students must be unavoidable and approved by the program director.

If a course has less than 6 students it will not be offered in that particular semester.

Once you finish the course registration, you have to check if it is successfully completed through the course confirmation menu in MIS.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience in advance.
