Follwing the request from the Education Ministry in Korea, the KDI School informs about Model ASEM HA NOI 2016. Please refer the below for the details.
1. About Model ASEM HA NOI 2016
: While the main Model ASEM is organised by the Asia-Europe Foundation(ASEF) alongside the actual ASEM Summit every two years alternating between Asia and Europe, the Model ASEM spin-off editions are organised by students or institutions locally to capture the enthusiasm of the youth's interest in Asia-Europe collaboration at a broader level.
To build up the momentum for the 7th Model ASEM conference in July 2016, in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, several spin-off editions are planned throughout 2016 across Asia and Europe in France, Viet Nam and the Philippines.

- Enhance your understanding of Asia-Europe collaboration and the ASEM process
- Play the role of a Head State of an ASEM Member and discuss political, economic and socio-cultural issues
- Meet leaders from governments, academia and inter-govermental organisations
- Gain and develop skills in the fileds of negotiation, diplomacy and consensus-building

4. Eligibility
- Citizens of any of the 51 Asia-Europe Meeting(ASEM) Partner countries
- University students between the ages of 18 - 30
- Strong command of English (verbal and written)
5. Application Period
: Until Monday, 29 February 2016 (※ 한국지원자는 3월 2일까지 가능합니다)
