The 66th UN DPI/NGO Conference

Dear students, 
 
Greetings from the KDI School. 
 
I would like to announce you that The 66th United Nations Department of Public Information (DPI)/Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Conference will be held in the City of Gyeongju, Republic of Korea, from 30 May to 1 June 2016.
 
Organized by the NGO Relations and Advocacy Section of the United Nations Department of Public Information, in partnership with the Republic of Korea, the NGO/DPI Executive Committee, and the National Organizing Committee of Korea, the theme of the 66th UN DPI/NGO Conference is “Education for Global Citizenship: Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals Together."

The Conference will take place during the launch year of the newly adopted Sustainable Development Goals, and aims at mobilizing civil society and academic organizations around the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, focusing on education and global citizenship as drivers for change and action.

□ Brief Information
 
   ○Date: 30 May - 31 May
       - Official participation for KDIS students is for the first two days ( 30 May - 31 May)
   ○ Venue: Gyeongju, Korea
   ○ Registration Fee: Approx. KRW 50,000 
   ○ Participant Limit : Maximum 18 students
     ※ The school will select 18 among the registered students, and the individual applicants will be reviewed by the UN DPI for the final approval.
   ○  Conference Report: Group of  4-5 students will be taking one Round Table Session and will be submitting a report on the designated topic.

 ③ Click the “MIS” on the right hand side of KDI School Service menu.
 ④ In the menu bar on the left, click “Apply for Events” under the “Training/Event”
 ⑤ Click the “Query” button.
 ⑥ Click the “UN NGO Conference"
 ⑦ Click “Save”
