Hello, everyone. I hope you are enjoying the end of summer vacation. For promoting your new academic semester, Student Affairs Division arranges an interesting cultural event, ‘The 2016 Jikji Korea International Festival’.

You may wonder what the ‘Jikji’ is. Jikji is the international documentary heritage which is very proud and representative printing culture which our ancestors have developed as the oldest books in the world with movable metal printing type.

Since it would be a great chance to understand the part of Korea’s history, I ask for your active participation. Please refer the below for the schedule.

-   Date and Time: September 3rd(Sat) 8:00am ~ 6:00pm

-   Application Period: August 23rd(Tue) ~ 28th(Sun)

-  Gathering Place and Time: In front of the dormitory / 07:50 a.m.

08:00~9:30	Move to the 2016 Jikji Korea International Festival
10 :00~11:30	Free Time
11 :30~13 :00	Lunch
13:00~15:00	Free Time
15:00~15:40	Move to Cheongnamdae
15:40~17:50	Cheongnamdae Tour (Free Time)
18:00~	Return to KDI School

 

< How to apply for the event >

1. Visit, KDIS Homepage (https://www.kdischool.ac.kr/)

2. Click MIS in the Sidebar menu

3. Log on using your ID and password
4. Click Apply for Events on the left side, below Training/Event

5. Go to The 2016 Jikji Korea International Festival

6. Select the lunch menu

7. Click Save

8. For the confirmation, click on the Event Application result under the Training/Event

Application Deadline: August 28th

Cancellation Deadline: August 31st

<IMPORTANT>

 **Please check your timetable before signing up for the event since your absence from any of the classes will be NOT be excused! Once your application is submitted, please note that you will be charged with absence penalty of 20,000 (KRW) if you don’t show up on the day, “UNLESS” you sent us an email notice 3 days in advance.
