Dear KDIS International Students,

 

We hope you are all enjoying the beautiful weather in Korea.

 

I am pleased to announce the voluntary program as a part of cooperation between Sejong City and KDI School. With the advent of globalization, we are looking for KDIS students, who are able to give a brief introduction of their own country as a one-day teacher in one of the elementary, middle or high schools in Sejong City. By sharing your talent, young generation in Korea will be grown up as a global citizen and have an understanding of various cultures and lifestyles from different countries. Please refer to the details below. 

 

 

■ Purpose    · To provide and share various cultures and lifestyles from overseas countries   ■ Related Contents    · Geographical feature    · Cultural difference, food, etc.    · Your personal background    · What makes you come to study abroad?    · Your employment background before studying in Korea    · Life in your country, etc.   ■ Expected Period    · September~November (We will arrange the date prior to your academic schedule.)   ■ Benefits     · Certificate of Volunteer Work issued by Sejong City   ■ Qualification    · Open-minded to working with children      · Dedication and commitment on behalf of your country     · Preferred minimum level of communication skills in Korean    ■ Application    · Please fill out the application form attached in the e-mail and reply me at hy_lee@kdischool.ac.kr by Sep. 18th(Mon).    · The application result will be sent out via e-mail next week.

This will definitely be a great opportunity to not only introduce your country to young children in Korea, but also play pivotal role as an ambassador for your country!
