CA/AA Application Notice for 2018 Pre-Spring Semester (~ January 2nd 10:00)

Dear KDIS Students,
 
This is a recruitment announcement for CA/AA positions in 2018 Pre-Spring Semester. The details on applications and positions are as follow;
 
KDI School is offering a chance to work as Class Assistant (CA), Administrative Assistant (AA), Teaching Assistant (TA) who will be given work-study scholarship. 
Those who are interested can submit an application form as as described below.
 
The decision will be made based on Professor's preference, candidate's admission scholarship, experience, your previous CA evaluation, and willingness to serve.

 
1. IMPORTANT
 
- Please do not contact any professor directly for a CA selection, a CA can be selected only through this application process
 (unofficial selection can be canceled)
 
- You can apply only for the class that you register (If you are in the waiting lists, you cannot apply for that CAs)
 
2. Application Period
 
- CA/AA:  December 26th (Tue) - January 2nd (Wed) 10am
*Course registration period: December 26th - December 30th
 
3. Application Procedure
 
b. Log in "MIS System" with your ID & Password
c. Go to Service -> Scholarship -> Apply for Assistant Scholarship
d. Fill out your information in the application
e. Please check the attached file for further procedure of application (Application manuarl)
 
4. Job Description
 
a. CA: Assist Professors in preparing for classes, check attendance & E-Attendance, upload lecture notes, and provide research assistant as needed.
b. AA: Support administrative offices of the school, provide research assistant as needed.
 
* In case of emergency, you can withdraw from your CA/AA obligation under the consent of your supervisor. You are required to report the decision to the Academic Affairs Division.
 
5. Working hour
 
a. CA:  Maximum 5 hours / week (Total 3 weeks)
b. AA: Working hours will be subject to the request of the School or teams.
 
6. Scholarship
 
- CA / AA : 7,600 won per hour   
 
7. Job assignment
 
- Applicants will be assigned on the basis of professors' preference and needs of each administrative office.
- Please note that the number of openings is limited.
