Remembering Professor Insoo JEONG

It is with tremendous sadness that we write to inform you that Professor Insoo JEONG passed away on the morning of May 21, 2018. Professor JEONG was a respected economist and researcher in the field of Labor Economics, Econometrics, and Macroeconomics.

Before joining KDI School, he served as the President of the Korea Employment Information Service, the Vice President of the Korea Labor Institute, the Chairman of the Labor Market Advancement Committee at the Ministry of Labor, and a research fellow at Korea Development Institute. During the 2018 Spring semester at KDI School, Professor JEONG taught classes in Development and Labor Market Policy, educating the future leaders of KDI School. It is a great loss for all of us that he passed away.
