The Teaching and Learning Division is now accepting applications for Class Assistant (CA), Administrative Assistant (AA) and Teaching Assistant (TA) positions in 2018 Fall Semester. Interested students should refer to the procedure detailed below:

 

1. Application Period

August 14th (Tue) – August 30th (Thu)

 

2. Application Procedure

a. Visit  "www.kdischool.ac.kr"

b. Log in "MIS System" with your ID & Password

c. Go to Service -> Scholarship -> Apply for Assistant Scholarship

d. Fill out the application form

e. Please check the attached “Application Manual” for further information

 

3. Job Description

a. CA: Assist professors in preparing for classes, checking attendance & E-Attendance, uploading lecture notes and other materials on e-Education, and provide research assistant as needed

b. AA: Support Library Unit 2 of the school

c. TA: Teaching exercise for core courses' students, running office hours for Q&A and statistical program (※ Ph.D. students and 2nd-year master students only can be assigned as a TA) 

* In case of emergency, you may withdraw from your CA obligation under the consent of your supervisor. You are required to report any such information to the Teaching and Learning Division ly

 

4. Working hour

a. CA: Maximum 6 hours / week (Total 11 weeks)

b. AA: Working hours will be subject to the request of the School or teams.

c. TA

- TA session: Maximum 2 hours per week

- Office hour: Maximum 5 hours per week

 

5. Scholarship (Compensation)

a. CA / AA : 7,600 won per hour  

b. TA (for core courses)

- TA Session: 30,000 / hour (2 hours per week)

- Office hour: 10,000 / hour (5 hours per week)

 

6. Assignment

The decision will be made based on the respective Professor's preference, each candidate's admission scholarship, prior experience, and previous evaluation. Please note that the number of openings is limited.

PLEASE BE AWARE!

- Do not contact any professors directly to ask for assistantship in the professor’s class. CA selection can only be made through this official application process. Employing any unofficial procedures will be grounds for disqualification from the current round of selections and may have negative effects on future selections

- You can only apply for classes that you are registered for. If you are on the waiting list, you cannot apply as CA for that particular class
