This Second Workshop being facilitated by editor Samuel Ogunjobi aims to help students with the understanding of the basics of “Summarizing” and “Paraphrasing.”

The Importance of Summarizing and Paraphrasing

These two concepts are essential tools in academic writing, KDI Students are required to write numerous academic papers each semester; In doing so, they must be able to cite scholarly works of scholars to bolster the arguments they will be making. Consequently, making the ability to summarize and paraphrase indispensable.
