Dear KDIS students,

 

I would like to announce that the School will start accepting applications for the class assistant positions(CA) in Pre-Spring Semester 2019.

 

KDI School is offering a chance to work as Class Assistant (CA), Administrative Assistant (AA), Teaching Assistant (TA) who will be given work-study scholarship. Interested students should refer to the procedure detailed below.

 

The decision will be made based on Professor's preference, candidate's admission scholarship, experience, your previous evaluation, and willingness to serve.

 

 

1. Application Period

January 2nd (Wed) – January 4th (Fri) 10 a.m.

 

2. Job Description

Assist professors in preparing for classes, checking attendance & E-Attendance, uploading lecture notes and other materials on e-Education, and provide research assistant as needed

* In case of emergency, you may withdraw from your CA obligation under the consent of your supervisor. You are required to report any such information to the Academic Affairs Division ly.

 

3. Application Procedure

a. Visit "www.kdischool.ac.kr"

b. Log in "MIS System" with your ID & Password

c. Go to Service -> Scholarship -> Apply for Assistant Scholarship

d. Fill out the application form

e. Please check the attached “Application Manual” for further information

 

4. Working hour

Maximum 5 hours / week per class, maximum of 3 assistantships per semester (Across Class Assistant, Teaching Assistant, and Academic Assistant)

 

5. Scholarship (Compensation)

Approximately 150,000 won

 

6. Assignment

- The decision will be made based on respective Professor's preference, each candidate's admission scholarship, prior experience, and previous evaluation.

- Please note that the number of openings is limited.

 

PLEASE BE AWARE!

- You can only apply for Language in Public Policy and Management, Academic Writing. Please do not apply for Basic courses(Basic Mathematics and Statistics, Basic Economics)

- You can only apply for classes that you are registered for. If you are on the waiting list, you cannot apply as CA for that particular class

- Please do not contact any professor directly to ask for assistantship in the professor’s class. CA selection can only be made through this official application process. Employing any unofficial procedures will be grounds for disqualification from current round of selections and may have negative effects on future selections.
