2019 Spring Semester Club Registration

 

Student clubs for the 2019 Spring Semester are now open to create!

 

The student clubs at KDI School aim to provide students with ample opportunities to meet other students through various social, academic and athletic activities.

 

A maximum of 15 clubs can be created and every student is welcome to organize their own clubs. The clubs that are registered successfully will receive financial support from the school for their desired activities.

 

For more details, please read the instructions below:

 

1. To Create a Club

  1) Download the club application form attached in this email or on the school homepage (“Student” → “Official Form” or “Student” → “Notice” )

  2) Fill out the KDIS Student Club Registration Form

  3) Fill out the KDIS Student Club Membership Registration (Sheet2)

  4) Find a faculty advisor for your club and get his/her approval and signature

  5) Submit the hard copy of the application form to Ms. Joh, Geyhyoung directly at the Student Affairs Division office.

   

▶Application Period: Feb. 13(Wed.) ~ Feb. 20(Wed.)

 

2. Requirements to Create a Club

- A club should have at least more than 10 members and 1 faculty advisor

- It is recommended to have members of various backgrounds

- It is recommended that a club should arrange at least 3 main activities per semester

 

3. Financial Support

- Each club’s activities will be covered within KRW 200,000

- The money will be given to each club representative at the end of semester after reviewing their activity report

 

4. Requirements for Financial Support

- The club representative should submit a club activity report including the financial details and original receipts.

   * If the original receipts are missing, there can be no reimbursements

- A club should share all activity plans and results (pictures, reports, etc.) not only with club members, but also with all school members by posting it on the “Student Club” board of the KDI School homepage (“Student” → “Bulletin Board” → “Notice” → “Student Club”)

-  Cubs need to have all activities available to all school members to encourage participation by non-club members.

 

5. How to Join the Club

- The Student Affairs Division will announce the final list of Student Clubs for the 2019 Spring Semester on the school website and bulletin board. If there are clubs you want to join, you can contact the club representatives on the list.

 

6. 2019 Spring Semester Club List

- We now open five slots for new club registration. The upper ten clubs are preexisting clubs and also operate in this spring semester.

*The ten registered clubs must also fill out the registration form and submit it to the Student Affairs Division as well. It will then be reviewed along with the new club registration applications.
