Dear KDI School Students,

 

We are pleased to inform you that the new student cafeteria has opened as of March 5. Established in order to provide healthy and delicious meals with reasonable price, the cafeteria is run by Sejong-Chungnam Catholic Caritas, an international Catholic charity organization which also manages Cafe Vobiscum. As with Vobiscum, the new student cafeteria employs disabled staff in an effort to contribute to a better society for all.

 

Please take note of the following information pertaining to students:

 

1. Name of the cafeteria

After receiving various ideas for its name from faculty, staff and students, the name (Vobiscum Cafeteria) ‘Food for Thought Lounge (FTL)’ was chosen, a place providing healthy and nutritious meals to students.

 

 

2. Opening Hours & Meal Subsidies

The opening hours and prices are as follows:

The school provides student meal subsidy for lunch and dinner. Please note that you must use charge your student ID card using the e-payment system prior to purchasing meals with the charged ID card. You WILL NOT receive meal subsidy if you purchase meals via cash or credit card. Apart from meal times, students may freely use the cafeteria for a resting or socializing.

 

3. Menu

Unlike the staff cafeteria that serves mainly Korean dishes, the student cafeteria is focused on providing a variety of international cuisines such as Thai dishes. Weekly menu is posted on ‘Bulletin Board-Notice’ of the school’s website. Every meat item served in the student cafeteria has received Halal certification.
