Introduction of the 2019 Korean lyric singing contest for foreigners

 

Outline of the Event

Name: 7^th Sejong Festival <Korean lyric singing contest for foreigners>

Date & Time: October 7 (Monday) 2019 / 18:00 ~ 20:00

Venue: Main Stage of the Sejong Lake Park

Eligibility for participation: Foreigners and Foreign Students who live in Sejong-si

Application period: From August 30 to September 20 (Field application is not available.)

 

How to apply

1. Download the application form from the festival homepage (http://www.sejongfestival.co.kr).

2. Fill in the form and submit it via e-mail to lhs8890@nate.com.

3. The correct way to write the subject of the e-mail: [외국인 한글 노랫말 경연대회] 참가신청(개인/단체)

 

Submission (You must submit the following documents when you apply for the contest via e-mail.)

2. Personal Information Consent

3. The MR sound file with which you  want to participate

Content of the contest

- Song for the contest: One song (no limit on genre / about 5 minutes)

• In line with the purpose of the festival, avoid songs written in any foreign language.

 

Notice

1. A pre-contest can be conducted if too many teams apply for the contest.

2. Please avoid songs that are too religious songs or wearing costumes.

3. The participants are free to express their own characteristics. However, avoid a performance that is not in line with this festival or too suggestive.

4. The order of participation in the contest will be fixed on the day of the contest by drawing lots.

5. The documents submitted will not be returned.

6. The  perks for the participants can be changed.

7. The festival can be cancelled in case of bad weather.

8. The contents and schedule of the festival can be changed depending on the program.
