Dear KDI School International Students,

 

We are delighted to inform you that there will be a 2020 K-water (Korea Water Resources Corporation) visit taking place on Friday, June 26. We recommend that those of you who are interested in the field of water resource management should participate in this event.

 

Please note that we are limiting the number of participants as a measure against the possibility of COVID-19. The application will therefore be first come, first served. We are considering holding a second visit in July, and we will provide you with additional details once this is confirmed.

 

 <K-water Visit>

- Date and time: Friday, June 26, 9:20 – 18:00

- Venue: K-water(Daejeon), Daecheong Dam

- Participants: Maximum of 20 international students

- Participation Fee: Free of charge

13:30~14:00	Understanding IWRM(Integrated Water Resources Management)
14:10~14:40	Understanding Water Quality Analysis(Water Quality & Safety Research Center)
15:30~17:00	Site visit to Daecheong Dam
17:00~18:00	Return to KDI School

※ Application Date: June 8 – 9 (on MIS system)

1. Go to http://mis.kdischool.ac.kr/

2. Log in using your ID and password

3. Click Apply for Events on the left side, under Training/Event

4. Choose Field Trip for Event Type and click the Query button

5. Click [Field Trip] 2020 K-water Visit (for International Students)

6. 1) Please write a comment if you have any dietary restrictions

     2) Click the ‘Save’ button

7. To confirm your application, click on the Event Application Result under Training/Event

 

 

<Important Notice>

1. Cancellation must be made by Friday, June 12.

2. No-show penalty: KRW 20,000 will be charged as a no-show penalty on the day of the event upon successful registration for the program.

3. Excused absence: Please review your schedule before signing up for this event since absence from any of your classes will NOT be excused.

4. Please note that any incidents caused by not following the instructions of K-water or KDI School will be the student’s responsibility.

5. Participant should wear masks and we will take a temperature of every participants at least twice during the field trip due to COVID-19 prevention.

6. If you have fever and respiratory symptoms, you may not allowed to participate on the event date.
