[KDIS] 2nd Special Event to Cope with COVID-19: Relieve your stress in the mountains!

Dear KDI School Students,

 

Thank you for participating in our special events to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Today we would like to introduce the 2nd event: We suggest that you go for a hike outside and get some fresh air to relieve your stress! Hippocrates said, “Walking is a man’s best medicine."

We hope this individual hiking mission revitalizes you during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Please don’t forget to share your photos with us. Enjoy your hike!

 

[Participation Period]

April 7th (Tuesday) ~ April 15th (Wednesday)

 

[How to Participate in the Event]

Step.1 Take only one(1) photo of yourself enjoying a hike on Mountain Goehwa(괴화산) near KDI School or any other mountains nearby your residence.

 

Step.2 Please share your message of encouragement with the photo in our fight against COVID-19 pandemic.

Upload the photo to your Facebook or Instagram account with the hashtags listed below.

We would like to see everybody participating in this event!

We want you to upload posts to your Instagram or Facebook, but if you would prefer not to,

you may participate by sending an email to studentaffairs@kdischool.ac.kr with your photos and captions.

 

[Important Guidelines for Participation]

1. Participate this event individually as South Korea government extended stricter guidelines on social distancing today by two weeks to April 19.

2. Make sure to wear a mask when you are hiking and students with fever or respiratory symptoms should refrain from going outside.

3. Participate this individual event on weekdays (Avoid hiking on weekends)

4. Your Instagram or Facebook account should be open to the public and tag your post with at least #KDISCHOOL and #KDIS so that the school can see your post.

5. With your consent, distinguished postings will be shared on the official school Facebook or Instagram account.

 

[Participation Gifts]

Gifts will be given to all students who participate and follow the guidelines as part of our continuous support for the well-being of all KDI School members.

It might be home workout equipment or other fun items that will keep you healthy and entertained in the dormitory or at home.

Detailed information regarding the gifts will be sent to the participants after the event.
