Dear member of KDI School,

South Korea will extend its current social distancing restrictions for two weeks, until Aug 22, as the country struggles to contain the spread of COVID-19.

 Period: Until August 22 (Sun)
 Social Distancing Level
    - Level 4Seoul Metropolitan Area, and Daejeon
    - Level 3Non-Metropolitan Area including Sejong

With the spread of the more transmissible Delta variant, the daily confirmed case totals in Daejeon and Sejong have been on the rise, with 50-80 cases in Daejeon and 20 in Sejong as of yesterday.

Please continue to wear your masks at all times, refrain from traveling throughout August, and refrain from long-distance travel in Korea. Thank you.
