I hope all is going well for you and everyone at KDI School. We are looking forward to our VIS with your students on Thursday, February 16.

I wanted to share with you that our next round of application reviews for our one-year, executive Master of Advanced Studies in International Affairs (MAS-IA) degree will begin shortly after Friday, Feb. 17. Students who apply by this deadline will know if the MAS-IA Admissions Committee will nominate them for admission by Tuesday, March 14. An official offer of admission will likely be sent by March 29. Once an official offer of admission is received, your students will be able to apply for Graduate Student Housing on campus. There is limited space so the sooner they apply, the more likely they will be able to get an apartment on campus, which makes living here very economical.

I would encourage any interested students you have in this degree program to apply electronically by February 17 at this link https://apply.grad.ucsd.edu/home. I have attached the MAS-IA Brochure should you want to circulate it electronically to remind your students about this great opportunity. I have also attached the photos and mini bios of the two students from KDI School who are currently in our MAS-IA degree. They are having an incredible experience at UCSD! In the past, we have had up to five of your students in the MAS-IA -- there isn’t a limit on the number of your students who can apply. Please note that those who are admitted will receive a special partial merit fellowship from the School of Global Policy and Strategy.
