[2023 Fall] Naver 1784 & Suwon Hwaseong Fortress Field Trip (Oct.13th)

Dear KDI School Students,

We are delighted to inform you that our next field trip for the 2023 Fall semester will be at Naver 1784 & Suwon Hwaseong Fortress. "Naver 1784" is NAVER's new office and second headquarters with the visionary concept of a "tech convergence building,". This newly constructed office building serves as a "giant testbed." for the conglomerate's future growth engines, which include robotics, artificial intelligence and cloud services. Also, "Suwon Hwaseong Fortress" is one of the must-have visit attractions in Suwon, which was designated as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 1997 for its historical value. 

This field trip would be a great opportunity to feel the historical atmosphere of unique Korean culture and to experience the driving force beyond the evolution of Korea's biggest online platform company's cutting-edge technology.

- Date & Time: Oct. 13th(Fri.), 08:00 – 18:00

- Venue: 1) Naver 1784(Seongnam) & 2) Hwasung Fortress(Suwon)

- Participants: Up to 20 international students* 

 * Up to 2-3 students for each country will be allowed to participate in the field trip and certain ratios will be provided to the new students to ensure an equal share of the limited seats for the field trip. (Therefore, your status on MIS is subject to change. We hope for your kind understanding on this matter)

 ** For those who have already attended previous field trips in 2023 more than three times, their registration priority can be adjusted depending on the circumstances.

- Participation fee: free of charge

- Remarks

1) A penalty fee of 20,000 KRW will be charged for no-show on the day

2) RSVP on MIS: Please write a comment on MIS if you have any food restrictions(halal, vegetarian, etc.)

* Cancellation must be made by Oct.9(Mon.)

1. Go to http://mis.kdischool.ac.kr/

2. Log in using your ID and password

3. Click Apply for Events on the left side, under Training/Event

4. Choose Field Trip for Event Type and click the Query button

5. Click on ‘[2023 Fall] Naver 1784 & Suwon Hwaseong Fortress Field Trip (Oct.13th)’

6. 1) Please write a comment if you have any dietary restrictions

2) Click the ‘Save’ button

7. To confirm your application, click on the Event Application Result under Training/Event
