WSSM KICAM Call for Applications UNESCO i-WSSM & KIGAM Joint Capacity Building Program for Next Generation Leaders in Water Security In coming summer, UNESCO International Center for Water Security and Sustainable Management(i-WSSM) and Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Re- sources (KIGAM) will launch a special program for inter- national students in water-related field. If you are interested in groundwater, which is the most arising issue in the field of water-security, along with the natural heritages in Korea, please apply to join our pro- gram! This program will provide you a fruitful groundwa- ter management knowledge and meaningful cultural ex- periences. Program Theme Groundwater Management and Natural Heritage Date 15-19 July 2024 Venue Daejeon and Jeju Participants 10 participants Fees Free* *Finance including tuition, accommodation, and meals during the official program are fully funded by UNESCO i-WSSM and KIGAM. Any international students, officials, professionals from countries included in the <OECD DAC's List of ODA Recipients>; Must be currently enrolled in universities in Korea; Majored in water-related sector or have related working experience; *Students who are not majored in water sector still can apply for the program, however. the priority is given to the students with relevant experience. Criteria of Applicants Have not participated in any programs hosted by UNESCO i-WSSM and KIGAM. Announcement of result will be sent to selected participants via e-mail in 4 June 2024.
