Lee, Seung-Joo

Strategic Management/Entrepreneurship

Seung-Joo Lee is professor of management and one of the founding members of the KDI School of Public Policy and Management since 1997. His main research and teaching interests are in strategic management, entrepreneurship, leadership, and case studies of Korean companies. He has written several books, articles and case studies on corporate strategy and leadership, and has experience conducting executive education and management consulting for major corporations, government institutions, and international organizations. Professor Lee graduated from Seoul National University and received his Doctorate of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. He worked at McKinsey & Co. as a management consultant, and was one of the founding members of McKinsey Seoul Office. He was the MBA Chair, Director of Knowledge Cooperation, and Associate Dean for the Center of International Cooperation and Capacity Building at the KDI School and served as outside director of LG Household & Healthcare, Korea Ratings, SBS, and Hanon Systems.
