Brief intro of project
SK-Business Network : Building Partnerships with Startups and Small Businesses in Developing Countries - Brief intro of project Title SK-Business Network : Building Partnerships with Startups and Small Businesses in Developing Countries Sustainable Development Goals 17. Partnerships for the Goals Timely Global Issues 5. Exchange of Knowledge and Culture Education Summary of your project Multiple startups and small businesses with great potential are created yearly across developing countries, but resources for their development are limited. South Korea (SK) being a business hub is endowed with numerous opportunities that small businesses in developing countries can leverage on to grow, while contributing to economic growth and job creation. However, some salient constraints to building partnerships with Korean businesses are low access to information, networking, cultural barriers, among others.
This study therefore seeks to design a platform that facilitates direct contact between Korean businesses and those in developing countries as a path to attaining the SDGs, including how such a platform could function effectively. A minimum of three (3) countries would be used as case studies to illustrate the benefits of this project economically, socially and culturally.
At the end of this study, the main document that would be submitted for evaluation is a Project Concept Paper. -
