    Strengthening Resilience: Analysis of Trump Policies and Institutional Responses in Latin America - Details of Cooperation Project
    Objective of the Project The project seeks to analyze the impact of Donald Trump's tax and trade policies in Latin America, with a particular focus on key countries such as Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Colombia and Panama. The objective is to generate an in-depth analysis of how these nations could be affected by changes in trade and fiscal relations with the United States and develop tools that strengthen the institutional capacity of these countries to respond to the challenges derived from these policies. In addition, it seeks to offer tools for making informed decisions in governments and companies in the region
    Expected Benefits from the Project Through this project we contribute to foster international collaboration and knowledge sharing. Aiming to enhance the institutional framework in key Latin American countries (Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, and Panama) to improve their ability to respond to shifts in trade and tax policies, particularly those stemming from the U.S. under Trump's administration, besides this, one key benefit is the generation of comprehensive policy analysis which will allow Latin American governments and businesses to better understand the potential impacts of Trump’s tax and trade policies.
    Anything you would like to inform the potential partner The project considers potential partnerships with South Korea and international organizations such as the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the World Bank to provide technical and financial support, fostering international collaboration and strengthening regional responses.
