Exchange of Knowledge and Culture Employment and Labor Summary of your project This project proposes the establishment of Korean language and culture teaching centers in Sri Lanka, Bhutan, and Kyrgyzstan to prepare young individuals from these developing countries for technical intern jobs in South Korea. The initiative aims to address South Korea's need for reliable young industrial workers while providing opportunities for individuals from developing countries to gain valuable industrial experience and knowledge. The project will be implemented by KDI alumni from Sri Lanka, Bhutan, and Kyrgyzstan, in collaboration with South Korean industrial companies. The program will offer a 3-year technical internship, during which participants will receive basic Korean language and culture training, a salary of two-thirds of South Korea's minimum wage, accommodation, and other welfare facilities. Upon completion, participants will return to their home countries with enhanced skills and knowledge to contribute to their local economies. -
