- A Deepened Analysis of Sexual Minorities' Rights in South Korea and Brazil This project aims to expand and deepen our previous cross-cultural comparison of the experiences of sexual minorities in South Korea and Brazil. Last year’s research highlighted the vulnerabilities faced by sexual minorities, particularly in South Korea, where the lack of social support and institutional frameworks leaves individuals more susceptible to discrimination and internalized hatred. Building on these findings, we intend to validate and refine our conclusions by utilizing a theoretical framework to structure the research. This year, our goal is to publish the revised study in a peer-reviewed academic journal to ensure the project’s contribution to global dialogue on sexual minorities’ rights.
